This poem serves as an extension of The Gifts of Emotion and Cruelty. It is not an answer by any means, in either piece of writing; merely observation and exploration.
Cruelty, hedonistic calamity
Sweet sadistic gift,
Suicidal malignity
Succinct in lasting grief and confused clarity;
Truculent remnants of barbarity,
Severe within mindfully meditated savagery;
Vicious curiosity spoon-fed as eye candy—
Merciless malevolence:
Not necessarily a killing spree;
Fell, foul ferocity—
This is only a game don't you see?
Colosseum cattiness just a car crash—
Scarring intentional incidents and unintended tragedy;
"Off with her head," a royal Red Queen decrees,
Senseless while sensual, who is the enemy?
Satisfaction in cannibalistically inflicted misery:
Emotional enmity guaranteed?
