film fun

‘The Light In The Dark’ is a 1922 film from William Dudley Pelley best enjoyed while Boyd Rice’s quite aligning’Back To Mono’ drones through it.

This is also quite elevated through psychoactively induced altered states of consciousness.

Flowers in dead teeth

I wrote this a good bit ago, but I find it interesting how it lines up with events of this year… I was literally told “buy them flowers” then, in the words of POD, ‘one bang, blood-rush to the head…’

Flowers are the best instance of how one can be full of life and beauty today then dead and decaying tomorrow. With a flower there is still some false, faded grey beauty to it. Rigor mortis in humans is only pretty so often. In a human carcass, beauty is dependent on care and timing.

Of course, this is a materialistic way of fetishizing the dead, as it is a materialistic world. Romanticism has seen a decline and death is definitely part of Romanticism. A revival of Romanticism could place on death the ire of having lived a life to its fullest and immortal spirit… Thus, post-Mortem living should be an afterthought, seeing as it’s more sensible to live in the fate one can be sure of. Focusing on what can be lived, not any “should have”-s.

Satanism: A Sinple Summary

Bruce Lee once said to be fluid like water.

That’s Satanism

Satanism is a tool and a Satanist cannot be backed into a wall as a result of the fluid application of the tool… when it’s behooving.

As times change, no human ideals stand sure. The Satanists, and I mean true Satanists, not just phase oners or people who try using it for making up a lack of their own real identity, are those iconoclasts who question all things and are unable to be cornered— metaphorically and literally.

Satanism is a living thought; a conversation; an action. It should be explored and tested, used to one’s advantage as after all, if you can’t use Satanism then what’s the use of being a Satanist? This is why pretentiousness and the forgetting of past orthodoxies are frowned upon, they are counterproductive to a Satanist, who, understands they live in reality and understands that Satanism promotes ‘‘thought and action’ as opposed to sitting back and expecting things to be spoonfed to them; Satanism promotes the uncomfortable (third-side) alternatives— taboo, secret knowledge (usually ending up about yourself more than anythin) you won’t find without playing with madness via study and natural experience.

Satanism is life in its most absolute form. It is survival, love, hate, passion; carnality— the flesh prevails. The word Satan in specific means a human adversary. Humans are fleshy and carnal animals, like any other. Naturally, given that and the definition of the word Satan being a human adversary, ‘Satanist’ would mean one that is adversarial to that which would deny the innate carnal and animalistic instincts humans have.

So, Satan coming from the Hebrew word for adversary, it’s not any one specific character. Satanism by its codification and definition of the word Satan stems from the idea of that adversary. Satanism is adversarial in that it promotes the life enriching things that have traditionally been given the devil’s name by both much of society and religious: institutions: greed, lust, nonconformity, rational-self-interest, lex talionis, skeptical inquiry…

Many who claim to be Satanists now have no real connection to it. Satanism is not for collective political battles; it is not for groupthink. If you ‘joined’ something in the name of Satanism, chances are, you’ve been conned.

The harsh truth is, Satanism is a harsh truth. It’s a smash in the face to rigidly sterile and stagnating ideals.

In a way Satanism is evolution, mainly in the mind but possibly on some genetic level.

Satanism is balance: Solve Et Coagula; love and hate; indulgence and abstinence. Baphomet is the image used to represent this most commonly, like water needs balance so it doesn’t disperse and crash down, Satanism is simultaneously the balance and the crash.

Despite it being an individualistic idea, Satanism is an open conversatio. How one can best practically apply the concept to their advantag, their surviva. Satanism understands, as stated before, that as time and environment changes no human ideals stand sure. While man-made, Satanism is an (anti-)ideology of reality, capable of use under most any environment or situation.

Malleability is individual.

Power doesn't attract the corruptable, they become the jesters

Torture: Synonym of Sadism, Justice and Revenge

Torture is adored by most people on some level. That is to say, everyone has a secret sadism to them. Justice is often (if not always, I might cynically interject) a synonym for sadism. Most people probably wouldn’t intentionally go out of their way to maim another person, at least not typically. The majority of people think in Karmic aphorisms of persons inevitably ‘getting what they deserve’ on some level for some transgression, personal or impersonal. People of faith may be nonchalant, but you’ll go to hell. You get cut off in traffic: you hope they get pulled over; in an accident not involving you… It’s largely premeditated ‘what-if’ scenarios in one’s head.

Torture is a Fetish, not necessarily explicit in its underlying sexuality but just as idealistically arousing regardless of scenarios. However… it’s not torture if it’s enjoyed, it’s kink.

“Every woman loves a fascist”

If every woman loves a fascist then coincidentally every man needs a matriarch and such can be seen in the Oedipus complex openly expressed in recent years…

G.V.N.

Grandiosity and vulnerability inform one another. Vulnerability in the openness about the grandiosity; grandiose in how much vulnerability gets into the way of things. Grandiosity mixes with vulnerability for chemical calamities on every front.

When speaking of the past there is often an emphasis on things done for “the glory”. Glory was a virtuous ideal, but despite all the tales one must ask, if it was really so glorious why the constant emphasis on it? Why aren’t we continually basking in its shadow?

In hindsight, there does seem to be glory in that the grass is always greener. Glory is another abstract ideal rather than reality. But it gives people a motivating force to strive with.

Mundane Extremes mini manifesto

The idea of Mundane Extremes is simple: everything is typical and everyone is a dime a dozen, but in that, the nuances of individual existence make for the perceived extremes. To sort of showcase it, I point to media like the My Chemical Romance tour video diary/documentary Life On The Murder Scene. Creative genius aside, there’s nothing out of the ordinary to it, it shows a band and their triumphs and tragedies with all the expected tropes: death, addiction, trauma and drive. It’s not a new tale. The extreme part is the viewing of and hearing the personal insights. Seinfeld is kind of anthemic with this, while “out-there” in that it’s a fictional TV show with character plot armor, the essence is each storyline isn’t out of the realm of possibility— it’s a show about nothing, like real life at the end of the day. To take from Camus and add to that concept as no matter the perspective, life is basically meaningless but what makes it interesting is that it’s a bunch of apes trying to figure out how not to kill themselves. Some do kill themselves though, a typical statistic from catastrophic dreamers.

The extremes, as said come out of the nuanced circumstances, no matter how dime a dozen it may be. As an extreme example, the Holocaust is held up as this monumental massacre, when it’s not. Genocide was not at all uncommon in the 20th century, nor was it the largest it’s merely the most popular. Armenian, Holodomor (and other Soviet statistics), Africa, Asia and America you name it, all had theirs. But again it makes sense that the Holocaust is the notable one in its unique method of industrialized death. However as with everything the real interesting parts are found in how individuals on every end of the debacle reacted and interacted with the European situation based on their own nuances. Rudolf Hess’ memoirs, Anne Frank’s diary and “the man who broke into Auschwitz” all are the really interesting parts.

Mundane extremes as such is in some essence the ability to adapt to circumstances. It can be seen in movies like Clerks or Empire Records, the everyday oddities…
