 Clerkian Misanthropy

"This job would be great if it wasn't for the fuckin customers"  -Randal Graves, Clerks

And it's true, on a major scale. An updated and truer version of this quote suffices for a misanthropy at its basic idea: this species would be great if it wasn't for the fuckin people. Humans fuck everything up, including themselves given that we are a naturally self-destructive species.

An Update/ Additional Idea

In The Bottom Feeders Frenzy, there is a line adopted from Orwell that says, "war is truly peace." Consider the history of humanity, is there a single century of recorded human existence that hasn't had conflicts of a war-like resemblance or disarmed conflict. To put it simply, no. War is eternal. The natural world is a world of war; the natural law is tooth and claw

True Celebrity Death Matches

Celebrities should be encouraged to take one another out. The world would be a lot quieter without their bitching and moaning that is never ending from their high public platforms. It would be much more entertaining to see celebrity "feuds" be carried out in gladiator combat than trashy pseudo-interviews and social media posts.

In the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, Ricky Gervais made a remark to celebrities that they shouldn't try making any political statement when they receive their awards as they have in reality very little in common with those they are claiming to represent. And he is right, regardless of what said famous individual possibly grew up with, they lose the connection with reality when they sit on their thrones and try dictating "issues" that somehow affect their above the status quo power. Celebrities just babble babble, bitch bitch to no end about anything and everything.

Universe

Nothing the human species does really matters in the scheme of it, we as a species are unlikely to ever migrate from Earth, we will all die here or attempting to escape. After this occurrence the sun will obliterate earth, leaving only the Voyager and Golden Record as the relics of a long since extinct species, assuming it doesn't get destroyed by a rock or get too close to the gravitational field of a large object.

Now, what if that wasn't the end of humans? Lets say the universe has no real borders and is an infinite. On this assumption, according to Brian Cox, there would be a chance of duplicate, identical solar systems to ours

Purus Nihil

Pure nothing is unseeable, un-hearable, unthinkable. It's Lovecraftian, an incomprehensible eldritch. Should the Universe have borders, what would the nothing beyond it truly be?
"Pure nothingness, on the other hand, does not contain anything at all: no air, no light, no dust. We cannot experience it with our senses, but we can conceive it with the mind. Possibly, this sort of absolute nothing might have existed before our universe sprang into being." -An Essay on Nothing
