Unity through ideology

“The Marxist theory doesn’t take into account the tribalism inherent in the human animal”

—Michael Rose, ‘A Quest For Democracy

However, it does. It takes the idea of the collective and makes it a tribe too loose to unify. The unification that is attained in this is artificially contrived and as such unsustainable. It’s a utopian ideology, don’t forget. Maybe I’m mixing it up a bit with anarchism, but the lines of ideology are blurry.
